Terms & Conditions:

  • Payments will be returned if a class has to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being achieved.
  • Blaze NC or any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class, each member has to be insured with England Netball.
  • Blaze NC reserves the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.
  • You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing us at - blaze.netball@outlook.com.
  • You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change using the given email address.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.
  • You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class.
  • We don't issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances.

Blaze Netball Club - Player Code of Conduct

At Blaze Netball Club, we strive to create a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all players, regardless of age or skill level. Our Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for players and outlines the behaviors that are expected both on and off the court.

General Expectations:

  • Respect: Treat coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials with respect at all times.
  • Integrity: Play fairly and with honesty. Cheating, dishonesty, or attempting to gain an unfair advantage is unacceptable.
  • Commitment: Attend training sessions and games regularly, and give your best effort at all times. Notify the coach if you cannot attend a session or match.
  • Punctuality: Arrive on time for all practices and matches.
  • Team Spirit: Support your teammates both on and off the court. Netball is a team sport, and success comes from working together.
  • Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive attitude during practices, matches, and team activities. Encourage your teammates and promote a positive environment.

Behavior On and Off the Court:

  • Sportsmanship: Win with grace and lose with dignity. Always congratulate your opponents and show good sportsmanship.
  • No Bullying or Discrimination: Any form of bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior based on race, gender, ability, or any other factor will not be tolerated.
  • Follow Instructions: Listen to and follow the instructions of your coaches and team officials. They are there to help you develop and improve.
  • Respect Club Property: Treat all equipment, uniforms, and facilities with care. Report any damage immediately.

Junior Players (Under 18):

  • Parental Supervision: Parents or guardians are encouraged to support their child’s involvement in netball and ensure safe travel to and from training and matches.
  • Personal Responsibility: Understand and accept that you are part of a team and have a responsibility to respect your teammates, coaches, and opponents.
  • Communication: Keep your parents/guardians informed about your training schedule and matches, and make sure they are aware if you are unable to attend any sessions.

Adult Players (18 and over):

  • Role Model: As an adult player, you are a role model for junior members. Lead by example, showing respect, sportsmanship, and commitment to the team and club.
  • Responsibility: Take responsibility for your own actions and behavior. Hold yourself and others accountable for following the Code of Conduct.
  • Conflict Resolution: In the event of a disagreement or conflict, address it respectfully and constructively, either directly or through the coach or team management.

Unacceptable Behavior:

  • Verbal Abuse: Abusive language or behavior directed towards teammates, opponents, coaches, or officials will not be tolerated.
  • Aggression: Physical aggression, violence, or dangerous play will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Consequences for Violating the Code of Conduct:

  • A breach of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, which could include verbal or written warnings, suspension, or removal from the team, depending on the severity of the behavior.

By participating in Blaze Netball Club activities, you agree to uphold and adhere to this Code of Conduct. Our goal is to create an environment where all players feel welcome, respected, and motivated to perform at their best.

Blaze Netball Club - Parent and Guardian Code of Conduct

At Blaze Netball Club, we rely on parents and guardians to help create a positive and supportive environment for our players. This Code of Conduct sets clear expectations to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

What We Expect:

  • Respect: Treat all players, coaches, referees, and other parents with respect.
  • Support: Encourage your child and the team in a positive way. Focus on the effort, not just the outcome.
  • Good Sportsmanship: Set a good example for your child by showing respect for decisions made by coaches and referees, win or lose.
  • Communication: If you have concerns, speak to the coach privately and respectfully. Avoid discussing player performance during matches.

At Training and Matches:

  • Be On Time: Ensure your child arrives on time for training and matches.
  • Safety: Make sure your child has the right equipment and is fit to play. Let the coach know if your child is injured or unwell.

Behavior:

  • Respect for Others: Be kind and respectful to everyone, including players, coaches, and other parents.
  • No Bullying or Discrimination: Blaze Netball Club has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying or discrimination. Everyone should feel safe and supported.

Unacceptable Behavior:

  • Verbal Abuse: Any kind of verbal abuse or arguing with players, coaches, referees, or other parents will not be tolerated.
  • Aggressive Behavior: Physical aggression or violence is never acceptable.

Consequences:

  • If you violate this Code of Conduct, you may be asked to have a conversation with the club, or in serious cases, be suspended from attending events.
